Food manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team.
Job Duties:
- Tune equipment to production standards
- Assist production daily in start up and as needed throughout the day
- Perform changeovers
- Comply with LOTO requirements
- Perform the Six steps of Troubleshooting.
- Assist and/or install new equipment
- Assist and build/ design or retrofit new equipment
- Perform both routine & emergency maintenance work with minimal supervision
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on all equipment and document it.
- Performs general building maintenance inside and outside the facility
- Maintain a log for general maintenance that has occurred inside and outside of the building and all equipment
- Ensure that our equipment and facilities are in compliance with all regulatory affairs associated with the food and pharmaceutical industry as directed
- Stay current with all new technology related to the equipment
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary
- Must be able to work weekends as necessary
Requirements:
- Ability to work with and train others- Train the trainer program
- Knowledge of pneumatic powered equipment
- Knowledge of pumps
- Liquid fillers
- Inline fillers
- Coders
- Vertical fill, form, and seal machines
- Clear understanding of process flow
- Food manufacturing regulations and guidelines
- Positive attitude and patience
- Strong attention to detail and follow up
- Ability to work independently when necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be capable of operating heavy machinery
