Food manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team.

Job Duties:

• Tune equipment to production standards
• Assist production daily in start up and as needed throughout the day
• Perform changeovers
• Comply with LOTO requirements
• Perform the Six steps of Troubleshooting.
• Assist and/or install new equipment
• Assist and build/ design or retrofit new equipment
• Perform both routine & emergency maintenance work with minimal supervision
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on all equipment and document it.
• Performs general building maintenance inside and outside the facility
• Maintain a log for general maintenance that has occurred inside and outside of the building and all equipment
• Ensure that our equipment and facilities are in compliance with all regulatory affairs associated with the food and pharmaceutical industry as directed
• Stay current with all new technology related to the equipment
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary
• Must be able to work weekends as necessary
  

Requirements:

• Ability to work with and train others- Train the trainer program
• Knowledge of pneumatic powered equipment
• Knowledge of pumps
• Liquid fillers
• Inline fillers
• Coders
• Vertical fill, form, and seal machines
• Clear understanding of process flow
• Food manufacturing regulations and guidelines
• Positive attitude and patience
• Strong attention to detail and follow up
• Ability to work independently when necessary
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be capable of operating heavy machinery
