Job Description
Work with publication/sales teams and editorial teams to manage and produce sponsored digital programs and online events from inception to completion; includes working with sales team, marketing team, sponsors and editors in all aspects of scheduling, managing, producing and executing integrated marketing programs, including live and on-demand webcasts. This include setting live event dates, coordinating technical aspects with third party vendor(s), event creation and event moderation (when needed), interfacing with and managing the relationship with sponsors and speakers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Webcast Production (90%)
- Manages technology vendor interaction for each Webcast deployment (sets up event, registration page); serves as the liaison between the customer, sales, marketing and the vendor to ensure that expectations are being met.
- Compiles and publishes regular yearly Webcast calendars.
- Holds weekly calls with the sales team to update team on registration numbers, marketing/promotional status and what is needed to boost registration.
- Collaborates with sales, marketing and sponsor(s) to develop marketing campaigns via email; compiles and coordinates marketing material including print ads, email promotions, newsletter/website listings and banner ads. Works closely with the Marketing Manager who coordinates the ad placements/eblasts.
- Analyze webcast numbers; work with team to increase numbers (social media, list selects for eblasts to engage the right audience)
- Collects, reviews, edits (in conjunction with editorial) and disseminates webcast presentation material.
- Conducts speaker training for presenters on webcast platform.
- Schedules and conducts speaker rehearsals
- Serves as the moderator for promotional webcasts (as needed)
- Prepares the event script for the moderator to read the day of the webcast and housekeeping slides
- Uploads the final PPT presentation and reviews it to ensure that the slides appear correctly
- Supervises, manages and produces live webcasts; facilitates questions and answers with the sponsor and serves as event time-keeper.
- Schedules, manages and produces podcasts and simulive recordings, works closely with sales, marketing, client and UBM project manager to execute on-demand events.
- Prepares reports on key metrics of webcasts for sponsor, sales representative and Emedia team.
- Creates webcast registration pages and Magazine vanity URL’s and manages changes and updates them accordingly after the webcast airs
- Posts each webcast to Magazine website
Podcast Production (10%)
- Produces Podcast recordings
- Prepares script for moderator
- Produces recording and sends the raw files and script to vendor
