SAFETY COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manage and issue the New Hire Orientation and Apprentice safety gear.

·         Manage and maintain team gears database i.e., locks, harness, hot gears.

·         Collect, count, and prepare rubber gloves for semi-annual testing.

·         Order and replenish safety cabinet, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) forms.

·         Administer webstore and team member's order requests and quarterly allowances.

·         Handle safety equipment during project mobilization and jobs returns.

·         Conduct monthly Building Inspections, First Aid Kits, AED, Fire Extinguisher, Eyewash stations.

·         Administratively support Safety Manager with safety network requirements.

·         Assist in gathering information in support of RFP/RFQ processes.

·         Support HR and Safety Department efforts in several areas of compliance reporting tied to the DOL, OSHA/MSHA, IDOT, IFTA, EEOC, etc. and our clients’ expectations.

·         Will work primarily with the Safety teams, but scope of work will require daily contact with all team members – office and field.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         B.S. degree in a related field, and/or technical training in any safety-related field.

·         Minimum 2 years of related work experience required.

·         Computer proficiency in MS Office.

·         LMS (Learning Management System) experience preferred.

·         Powered Industrial Truck and Aerial Work Platform experience preferred.

·         Strong organizational and time management skills required.

·         Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
