    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join a prestigious healthcare practice as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions, with a primary focus on spending 3 days in the clinic and dedicating the remaining time to performing procedures and surgeries in the hospital setting. This position offers a highly competitive compensation package ranging from $500,000 to $550,000 annually.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, meticulously reviewing medical histories, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.

    • Develop and implement highly personalized treatment plans for patients with a diverse range of gastrointestinal disorders, encompassing digestive system diseases, liver conditions, and colorectal issues, among others.

    • Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in performing a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and ERCPs, ensuring utmost precision, patient comfort, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

    • Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of esteemed physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

    • Monitor patient progress diligently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and providing ongoing follow-up care to optimize patient outcomes and wellbeing.

    • Educate patients and their families thoroughly, offering clear and concise explanations of their conditions, available treatment options, and proactive measures for self-care and disease management.

    • Stay at the forefront of medical advancements in gastroenterology by actively participating in conferences, seminars, and engaging in continuing medical education activities to further enhance clinical expertise.

    • Maintain meticulous and accurate medical records, consistently ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations and stringent industry standards.

    • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to ethical and professional guidelines, consistently embodying compassion, empathy, and respect for patients' rights and confidentiality.

    Qualifications:

    • Possession of a medical degree (MD or DO) from a reputable and accredited medical school.

    • Board certification in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or its equivalent.

    • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice within the state.

    • Demonstrated track record of proven experience as a competent Gastroenterologist, preferably with a background in both clinic and hospital settings.

    • Proficiency and expertise in performing a wide array of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and ERCPs.

    • Exceptional diagnostic skills combined with the ability to develop highly effective and tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with colleagues and fostering strong connections with patients.

    • Demonstrated ability to maintain comprehensive and meticulous medical records, ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
