    Job Description

    MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a strategic and creative Manager, Sponsorship Consulting to partner with our roster of Fortune 500 clients to implement branded activation campaigns. This is an opportunity to be a collaborator and mentor a junior team. This is a hybrid opportunity (2-3 days in office). You will report into the Sr. Manager, Sponsorship Consulting. programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead junior team to ensure account goals are met, while also providing account support
    • Communicate with clients to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and collaboration
    • Assist senior management with execution of official partnerships, making sure to use all assets available to client
    • Collaborate with league and team partners and others to help develop outstanding marketing partnerships
    • Work with client team to develop activation campaign recommendations
    • Write and develop important documents including activation plans and POV documents to client-ready status
    • Oversee activation campaigns and events from top to bottom
    • Maintain oversight on all activation programming including overall annual and per event budgeting
    • Understand project budgets and manage costs within scope diligently following internal guidelines
    • Some travel is required including weekends and occasional holidays
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience
    • Understanding of the sponsorship landscape and have experience working on high-profile programs involving properties such as the NFL, MLS, NASCAR, NBA, PGA TOUR, NHL, USOC and MLB, not including sales, operations or athlete management experience
    • Work with colleagues, senior executives, talent, and clients, recognizing the need to adjust communication style according to the audience
    • Share/present ideas and concepts in a team environment and demonstrate openness to giving/accepting thoughtful constructive feedback
    • Recognize and appreciate different work styles and have capacity to adjust to work respectfully with staff, clients, peers and vendors
    • Contribute to internal activities (team building, events, off sites) and add to our culture

    Additional Information

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,000-78,000. Salary is based on a range of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
