      • Working with Division Heads on ‘productizing’ their division for easy ‘sell’
      • Internal Dentsu liaison point – target of 2-3 Dentsu opportunities that lead to revenue in 2023
      • Representative of MKTG S+E internally (across global and Dentsu) and externally

WHY MKTG SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT IS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU:

We’re a global sports and entertainment agency, part of the Dentsu network, that believes those who do it best don’t buy attention. They earn it through:

    • A deep understanding of consumer subcultures and communities
    • Creating culturally relevant marketing platforms that consumers want to spend time with
    • Building ideas born for brands, but designed for fans

We’re built to deliver these three things across our departments - Consulting, Content, Social and Guest Experiences - to produce real business and brand value.

By joining MKTG S&E, you’ll join a team of disciplined but daring people that truly care for what we do and for each other. And at the end of the day, we work in sports & entertainment – so we like to have fun at some of the most memorable events on the planet.

Not only will you be joining a multi-award-winning Agency with great culture, you will also have the unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from our other offices across the globe. There is a whole heap of benefits that come with the role- a flexible holiday package starting at 20 days, corporate discounts, commuter benefits, cell phone reimbursement and much more. Our benefit plans have your total well-being in mind, and we offer an extensive list you can choose from to suit your needs.

You will be expected to spend 20-30% of your time on the road (sports & entertainment events, potential clients, MKTG S&E & Dentsu offices etc).

    WORKING WITH US:

MKTG S+E is led by our core values which focus on collaboration, community, inspiring change, pursuing excellence and celebrating bravery – all of which are foundational to our culture and how we treat each other and our clients. This is an opportunity to produce career-defining work. Along the way, you’ll team up with inspiring colleagues and encounter a richness of clients, cultures, and experiences. We offer exciting challenges, memorable experiences, and opportunities to shape your future.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • You’ve got a minimum of 10 years sports & entertainment sales experience (agency or property side) with a proven track record of opening and closing major new clients.
    • A highly energized and proactive networker, plugged into the sports and entertainment world.
    • You’ll have the experience (and doggedness) to lead and drive major new pitches, bringing together different parts of the business into a cohesive and collaborative group.
    • A strong view on our tone of voice and output as an agency, working directly with the Managing Director, to own the agency position and outward marketing across all channels and engagements.

We love smart, curious people with eclectic backgrounds who are culturally connected. Whilst we don’t need a sports fanatic, an understanding of the space and a relevant contacts book across brands and properties is critical mentality.
