SR. BUSINESS ANALYST (PROJECT MANAGEMENT & DATA MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)

The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements as well as assisting in design and documentation for a cloud ERP implementation. Functional knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry is required. Experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is preferred. This role will work closely with the project manager as well as Subject Matter Experts to develop and document – functional design, process documentation and technical requirements. The BA will also assist the PM in project management activities including status reports, presentations, and data analysis. (PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE BA COMBO.. EXPERIENCE MANAGING MASTER DATA OR DATA, BI WOULD BE GREAT).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of software development and test methodologies
• Self-motivated, responsible, and organized individual who can work with all levels / functional areas of the business
• A combination of skills in both Project Management and Business Analysis preferred
• Experience working directly in or supporting the Operations / Warehousing / Production functional areas
• Experience in implementing and supporting ERP implementations
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
• In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
• Experience with medium sized cloud-based ERP implementations is a plus
• ERP experience can include systems such as Deacom, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics , etc. Preferably not a large ERP such as SAP or Oracle.
• Data Management experience
• Process Improvement knowledge and experience is desired
• Experience in Food Manufacturing Industry is a plus
• Some Project Management Experience would be a plus
• Four or more years of Business Analyst with some Project Management experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, or related field

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assignment, Tracking and Monitoring of tasks assigned to project team members
• Develop and manage work breakdown structure in collaboration with project team members
• Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology
• Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management. (In person, via Email or virtual meetings/calls).
• Develop / assist in project related documentation as needed (e.g. UAT scripts, other )
• Facilitate and participate in process engineering sessions to understand current and future state design
• Design and lead process walkthrough sessions to validate design
