  • Responsibilities

    Duties & Responsibilities: 

    1. Defining Operations Analytics solution for identifying application / systems issue using machine data like logs, alerts, tickets, identifying root cause and resolution 
    2. Defining the requirement to be solved, formulating the cognitive approach to solve those problems, gathering data to solve those problems, and developing analyzing/drawing conclusions & giving the presentations. 
    3. Defining go to market strategy to promote the solution and drive the delivery / implementation of the solution 
    4. Developing and managing dashboards across Enterprise 
    5. Collaborate with various team to extract the information for onboarding the logs 
    6. Performed log analysis, gathering statistics and build dashboard. 
    7. Performed migration to higher environment and support the monitoring application 
    8. Worked closely with various stakeholder and responsible for assigned tasks. 
    9. Work with offshore team on daily basis and drive the progress.  Technical And Professional Experience  • Design, build, test and deployment efforts utilizing various tools and technology solutions - 8 Years  • Designing conceptual, logical and physical design for operational monitoring  • Measure the impact of changes, enable scenario analysis, and work with clients.  • Translating business and analytics needs into simulation model requirements and conducting hands-on development of simulation models, including input data analysis, model exploration, implementation, experiment design, testing and validation.  • Demonstrated proficiency in Requirement analysis, solution designing and solution development in Operations Analytics / Business Analytics Domain  • Financial industry experience.  Skill, Experience & General information required:  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent experience.  • 8+ years' experience delivering software implementation projects within a professional services organization  • Good understanding and hands on experience of designing business solution using one of analytics tool like Splunk, Kibana or Elasticsearch etc.  • Good experience dashboards, reports, alerts and managing knowledge objects. Using Datamodels and summary index for faster results.  • Expertise in creating add-on/plugin for Splunk ,Splunk components (Indexer, Universal Forwarder, Heavy Forwarder, Search head and Deployment Server).  • Creating dynamic alerts based on machine learning models from Splunk ML ToolKit.  • Managing user/role creation for authentication/authorization using LDAP.  • Expertise in creating and managing the knowledge objects in Splunk and replication to search peers. Whitelist/blacklist objects from the bundle.  • Field extraction using Ifx, regex in configuration files. Expertise in the usage of Splunk config files like inputs.conf, outputs.conf, props.conf, transforms.conf, indexes.conf, distsearch.conf, limits.conf.  • Working familiarity with multiple programming tools and development environments.  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills  • Strong desire and ability to learn quickly and acquire new skills  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical

     

    Good to have:  Exposure to ETL, DWH and Hadoop concept.
