Cloud Integration / Cloud Orchestration / Cloud Specialist
• During the pilot phase & production deployments, assist and support BANK complete the infrastructure sizing, performance considerations for the Cloudscape virtual appliances etc.
• Identify types of discoverable devices and the network configurations required in view of expediting the tool onboarding process when the licenses are acquired. Need to understand what we can/cannot discover and the linkage and ultimately identify the total round-trip time.
• Understand access provisioning requirements and security considerations for the tool, support and remediate potential challenges in the BANK environment.
• Review analytics and outputs generated by the tool to ensure it meets AWS requirements.
• Support BANK resources in obtaining the necessary information security and other similar group approvals necessary to deploy the Cloudscape tool.
• Support deployment of the Cloudscape tool across the BANK IT ecosystem, targeting approximately 4,000 productions and non-production servers.
• Discover and inventory approximately 4,000 servers using the Cloudscape tool.
• Review discovery data to ensure Cloudscape platform visibility into all critical system dependencies and associated network and performance metrics.
• Review the asset report to validate all expected assets are discovered and accessible & License all in-scope workloads.
• If there are inaccessible devices that are in-scope for the discovery, then we will work with your team and assist with remediation.
• Perform application stack rationalization and verify application stacks with application owners.
• Working with BANK IT leadership, draft application migration strategies and groupings based on agreed application stacks.
• Support BANK resources in reviewing Cloudscape findings with AWS migration team and resolving identified information gaps."
Candidate should have Good Understanding of Business applications, Servers, Network Devices, Installed software, SAN/NAS & VMWare virtualization where cloud skills are not mandatory.
Good understanding of Enterprise IT applications Relationships i.e. upstream/downstream dependencies, application to server mappings, Application architectures with IT Infrastructure experience such as Windows, Unix operating systems (AIX), Server, Storage, Network, security, Virtualization (VMWare), Cluster computing, SAN/NAS architectures.
Knowledge on Routing, Switching, application protocols, IP Networking (IPv4 and IPv6 & ICMP), Network, Security (ACL & Firewalls) and Technical Awareness of Web/App/database tiers & protocols associated.
Overall candidate may have ITIL/TOGAF with CMDB & VMWare experience.
