Role Summary/Purpose
Candidates selected will be converted to FTE on day one, please only submit Green Card holders and Citizens * We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Data Quality Tech Lead to lead a team in the development, implementation, and remediation of all needed Ab Initio data profiling queries for the Syncrhony Enterprise Data Lake application and Data Lake Acceleration program. Essential Responsibilities • Lead the Data Quality development team in the design, development, testing, and deployment of data quality rules • Lead it team in effectively using the tools in the Ab Initio technology stack for the creation of the data quality rules, especially Express?It and DQE • Work closely with the Data Quality Leader to identify and prioritize the team's work, communicating any obstacles and other concerns that will impact delivery timelines • Lead the team in data profiling efforts to suggest data quality rule requirements • Work with Data Stewards to identify and understand data quality rule requirements • Drive consistency of development best practices across the team • Work with the Data Quality Leader and team to identify and implement opportunities for improving processes, frameworks, and functionality • Ensure the team is compliant with all the applicable Synchrony policies, standards, and procedures as part of their delivery Qualifications / Requirements • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in a quantitative field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) with at least a 75% overall passing rating • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the Information Technology field • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Ab Initio developer • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Express?It and automated job scheduling in Control Center • A minimum of three (3) years leading an Ab Initio development team • A minimum of three (3) years of SQL developer experience • A minimum of three (3) years of Hive developer experience • Proficient in the full Ab Initio tech stack, especially its data quality frameworks • Proficient in Collibra • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Strong written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated success in organizing, managing and driving multiple deliverables concurrently often within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressure • Experience working independently and cross-functionally, demonstrating excellent work ethic, high energy, customer orientation and problem-solving mindset • Ability to work in the Stamford, CT office during U.S. hours, approximately between 8 AM ET to 6 PM ET, Monday through Friday
