    Job Description

       MMIT is currently looking for a Product Manager to be an integral part of a growing team focused on launching new SaaS-based solutions for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries and enhancing our current suite of Products. The Product Manager will work closely with the Product peers and Development leads to translate client feedback and market research into business cases, roadmaps, POCs, MVPs via functional requirements, business epics and technical stories with help from Product Analysts and other key team members. This key role will work to ensure new products and features meet core business strategies, fill market needs and deliver customer value. The role will report to SVP of Product, Pharma and will maintain a product backlog, provide ongoing progress and status to leadership and bring marker awareness and innovation  to the Product team.

     The Product Manager will have a high level of independence and is expected to know/learn the market and contribute to enhancing products as well as manage products through all stages of the product lifecycle including definition, development, release and post release activities. This is a great opportunity for a Product Manager  who is looking to be part of a growing product management team and looking to make meaningful contributions to the teams’ success while continuing to refine their skillset. 

    In this role, the Product Manager will focus on existing data and analytics products as well as launching new products and new product features within MMIT's new Pharma vertical, which helps pharmaceutical business leaders and account managers track and analyze managed care coverage events and their market access for retail, specialty, and oncology pharmaceuticals.

     To succeed in this role, you will:

    ·         Have experience and working knowledge of healthcare and life sciences industry,

    ·         Have understanding of Managed Markets and Market Access ecosystem in Pharma and be able to concisely articulate the value of our data and products to our customers

    ·         Understand the commercial Health Insurance construct in the US

    ·         Understand healthcare data and why pharmaceutical clients expect and require accuracy 

    ·         Must understand Data and Analytics from the core data to the user experience.

    ·         Analyze and articulate business/customer value of products and potential investment of resource and/or funds

    ·         Have an opinion and a vision of how we succeed, delight clients and surpass competition

    ·         Contribute to development of overall team and company strategy to drive revenue growth and market share

    ·         Proactively consider and identify new opportunities, strategies, tactics, vendors, partners in our space and raises the teams thinking and level of performance

    ·         Partner with Development, Solution Consulting, Sales, Go To Market, and other Product Managers to ensure success of the team

    ·         Manage day to day execution of all product plans, functions, customers

    ·         Have experience working in an Agile environment, have ability to write Epics and manage a Product backlog

    ·         Have experience developing SaaS based Products and knowledge of the business framework and architecture required

    ·         Define and manage product roadmaps, KPIs, operating metrics, performance metrics, necessary support roles, etc.

    ·         Operate with integrity, influence without authority, inquire humbly and partner openly

    ·         Be comfortable speaking to clients, presenting to clients, in some cases taking the lead from business partners

    ·         Knowledge of payer marketing, drug development lifecycle and drug launch process helpful

    ·         Ability to assess and perform competitive analysis

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or other related area

    ·         6 plus years working in the healthcare, life sciences industry

    ·         4 plus years working as a Product Manager or Product Owner

    ·         Prior experience with Data and Analytics products and strong understanding of their innate complexities

    ·         Demonstrated success bringing various products to market

    ·         Experience working on a software or data product is a major plus

    ·         Self starter, positive and excited to work with a team of excellent engineers

    ·         Experience working as a Product Owner in an Agile environment including sprint planning, sprint execution, backlog refinement, retrospectives and tools such as Jira and/or DevOps

    ·         Experience assessing and defining market differentiation, sales triggers, value propositions
