    Job Description

    The Marketing intern will report to the Director, Product Marketing and will and will support the Director in conducting several key market place analyses to size and segment markets, create buyer and influencer persona profiles and other key research to support the Product Marketing Director.

    The candidate for this role will be someone who loves digging into data, doing internet research on companies and clients, in addition to interviewing internal SMEs, supporting preparation for meetings and tracking key deliverables around product launches and updates. This is an unpaid internship for someone looking to learn various aspects of Marketing and gain valuable experience.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Aggregating client and prospect information using databases/spreadsheets and researching company information on the internet to support market-sizing and opportunity planning.
    • Analyze client and prospect contact databases to understand account penetration, engagement and eliminate data gaps to better understand market potential across each product line.
    • Drive the translation of key value propositions, buying persona intelligence and client use cases to brief the marketing team to trigger the launch of healthcare and life sciences B2B digital marketing campaigns across a diverse set of engagement channels, including email, trade associations, digital publishers and advertising pathways.
    • Support meeting summary drafting and follow up from product and revenue team meetings.
    • Support slide creation and framework builds for Product Marketing Director.
    • Identify opportunities to improve MMIT’s existing early adopter and client insights programs to ensure that new products are meeting key business challenges for our customers.
    • Interface with key stakeholders across product management, marketing, sales, client success and solution consulting to obtain and document key insights from the field teams.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • College enrollment with a major or focus in English, Marketing, Business or Communications.
    • Adept at conducting internet and database research on companies and individuals and write a profile / analysis.
    • Ability to analyze data in excel, use basic math formulas and create basic pivot tables.
    • Ability to draft a client or internal interview guide with key questions to understand core business needs
    • Please check with your school regarding receiving credit for unpaid internship work experience. 
    • College enrollment in marketing/business or related discipline.
