Data Operations is responsible for maintaining timely, accurate, and comprehensive data across payers that represent ~300 million lives. We provide formulary and PAR (policy and restrictions) data to help improve market access.
Position Description
This intern position is an exciting opportunity for you to learn about access to medical and pharmaceutical drugs. You will learn about payer plans, formularies, and PAR (policy and restrictions). You will be trained in a specific area and then be responsible to maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive information about formulary or PAR (policy and restrictions) data.
Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you will have the following responsibilities.
Review documents (Formulary or PAR) from health plans across the country
Assess information and update data to show formulary and/or PAR changes.
Apply guidelines to accurately represent policy information in the MMIT data set.
The quality of our data is of the utmost importance. This is a fast-paced role that requires meeting deadlines while maintaining data quality. You will be on-boarded with a learning program and supported with on-going learning opportunities. We will provide training about key terms and MMIT guidelines.
This internship also provides opportunities for on-going work throughout the school year.
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in college.
