SUMMARY: This position will support the Vikings Entertainment Network team with managing strategic initiatives and outreach. The focus for this role will be to manage all email campaigns and calendars, as well as the planning process. The Email & Digital Marketing Coordinator will learn to ideate and activate with target segments, build and send emails to fans, and measure performance of those emails. The Coordinator will also gain additional knowledge of databases and organizational data strategy, as well as be an expert in persona understanding and targeting. In addition to oversight of the email marketing systems, the Email & Digital Marketing Coordinator will work strategically with the social, digital and content strategy teams on marketing language including, but not limited to, marketing & advertising campaigns, social media content, digital content, editorial content, social media advertising, SEO optimization, SMS & mobile app experiences. This is a full-time position that will require a flexible schedule and likely include regular office hours, some evenings, weekends, as well as potential game-day responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Build all outbound email templates and send to target audiences. * Lead journey-building content for audiences, as well as advise on omni-channel marketing efforts. * Assist in segmentation of lists primarily for email and including social and mobile app campaigns. * Be the key connection between production team and data/analytics teams to ensure both content and strategy objectives are achieved. * Work with key stakeholders to summarize marketing efficiencies for future strategy. * Produce and copy edit marketing language for social media, digital and content strategy teams. * Assist digital team with SEO optimization & create Judo experiences to assist push notification strategy. * Support sales & marketing, social impact, communications, partnerships and all other Vikings departments on email marketing ideation and delivery. * Use project management tool to provide transparency for all departments. * Maintain email and omni channel-marketing calendar. * Assist data architect with the creation and implementation of the marketing dashboard. * Work closely with Creative Advertising Strategist on various campaign initiatives and performance goals. * Assist the Vikings Entertainment Network team in creating and maintaining performance benchmarks for relevant initiatives. * Support the Vikings Entertainment Network team as needed with other ad hoc projects. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * 2-3 years email marketing and campaign management experience a must. * 1 year social media or digital marketing experience a must. * Experience summarizing and delivering email and data recaps to stakeholders. * Experience with push notification, app development and marketing a plus. * Familiarity with HTML coding is helpful but not essential. * Familiarity with Adobe products, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media management tools. * Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and ability to learn new skills/processes quickly. * Excellent communication skills. * Observer of current digital and social trends, as well as up-to-date on the latest email marketing practices. * Strong work ethic. * Self-starter who is able to work independently when needed. * Comfortable working in a diverse team environment.
