About the Mobile Mechanic/Technician Role

As a Mobile Mechanic/Technician, you'll be Towne’s go-to expert for our customers' fleets. This field-based role suits skilled technicians who value independence and variety. You'll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, Recalls, and repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform on-site preventative maintenance and recalls to light and medium duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Take ownership of a c ompany-issued service truck , perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance.
• Jump in wherever needed – we're a team that supports each other.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience working on light to medium duty vehicles.
• Strong communication skills – you know how to connect and communicate with customers and drivers alike.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems, and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
• Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer locations.
• Independent, dependable, and self-motivated – you take pride in getting the job done right.
• A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Must have clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• We’ll supply all tools and everything you need to be on the road.
