Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations to assist in diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop treatment plans with measurable and objective short- and long-term goals for each client based on the evaluation data
Follows treatment plan in an objective, measurable and documented approach
Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, treatment plans, and progress
Prepares daily work schedule and completes all treatments as scheduled
Reporting progress to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or other professionals
Qualifications
· Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
· Valid state license or certification.
· Experience with certain conditions and specific age groups preferred.
· Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
· Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases.
