    Join our team of detail-oriented HVAC installation technicians. We’re looking for an experienced and professional HVAC technician to help our client’s stay comfortable and healthy indoors. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installing a variety of HVAC equipment, including indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. You’re comfortable referencing blueprints and manuals to solve complex problems and working with a team to safely and efficiently complete a variety of installations. Must have at least 5 years experience Responsibilities: • Use electrical testing equipment to check electrical circuits and components • Advise clients on how to properly maintain their new equipment Diagnose and repair central HVAC systems. • Installation and Maintenance:Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. • Ensure proper functioning of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues. • Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:Diagnose problems with HVAC systems by inspecting components, testing electrical circuits, and analyzing system performance. • Troubleshoot issues related to temperature control, airflow, and refrigerant levels. • Repair or replace faulty parts, such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats. • System Design and Layout:Collaborate with engineers and architects to design HVAC systems for new construction or renovations. • Determine the appropriate size and capacity of equipment based on building requirements. • Plan ductwork layout and ensure proper ventilation. • Safety and Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical components, refrigerants, and gas lines. • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC installation and maintenance. • Educate clients on safety practices and energy-efficient usage of HVAC systems. • Customer Service and Communication:Interact with clients to understand their HVAC needs and address any concerns. • Provide clear explanations of repair options, costs, and timelines. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with customers. • Documentation and Reporting:Keep detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance tasks. • Create work orders, invoices, and service reports. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. • Continuous Learning and Training:Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. • Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance skills. • Obtain necessary certifications and licenses. Qualifications: • Must have required state and local HVAC technician licenses • High school diploma or GED required • Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification • Must be comfortable working in small crawl spaces and attics • Great communication, math, and problem-solving skills • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections Compensation: $60,000 plus Commissions
