About the Role:

As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for the origination of mortgage loans and the marketing of loan products in a specific area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated sales experience and real estate knowledge.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial interview with potential borrower(s) and pre-qualify applicants for financing.
• Complete loan applications.
• Determine which mortgage product best suits borrowers' needs.
• Gather necessary documentation to complete loan file.
• Follow-up on referrals from realtors, builders, and bank.
• Maintain referral network with realtors, builders, and other real estate professionals.
• Market a variety of loan products.
• Attend builder/realtor shows and seminars.
• Assist loan closers in obtaining information as noted by loan underwriters.
