Mortuary Support Services of Northern California is expanding in the Sacramento, San Joaquin, and East Bay areas and is seeking qualified individuals to transport dead bodies from one location to another. This is the stepping stone position to the funeral industry. Before you spend 3 years in mortuary school this position will open your eyes to the satisfaction and reward of being a funeral employee.

We are hiring for the position of transport driver who can follow directions and provide the ultimate experience to a family who has lost a member to death. Our company will expect you to interact with other funeral staff, coroners, funeral directors, and grieving families. The removal process takes pride and skill to show compassion of moving their loved one. We leave a red rose on all residential removals because we care about the families we serve.

Our staff is well trained with documentation, moving a hundred pound decedent up to 1000 pounds. We will provide a company van with equipment to do each job correctly. We will expect you to be available for 24 hour shifts, on-call and dressed in a suit (shirt & tie). We have a 24 hour dispatcher to communicate automated calls to your phone. You will be expected to have a clean driving record and at least 3 years of driving experience. You must be able to communicate with co-workers and get removals done without supervision.

We provide local and overnight long distant transportation to our customers. You will need to lift at least 100 pounds alone. There are tools provided to assist you with safe removals.
