    JOB OVERVIEW

    At MPG we strive to offer clients strategic capabilities to enable their success. Order to Cash is a process sought by many of our clients to leverage outsourced capability and cost, and attain speed to market. The order to cash process entails customer order receipt, order processing, picking, packing, shipping, invoicing, cash collection and deduction reconciliation.

    The Order Management Associate will provide first line of response to operational questions requested by our retail and manufacturing clients. They will field questions, ensure prompt reply to inquiries and provide routine reports.

    The scope of the role includes working with over 100 retailers and approximately 25 manufacturing clients. This position is located in Buffalo, NY.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • EDI Order Review and Confirmation – Review all inbound orders via EDI for price accuracy, minimum order quantities, and out of stocks. Determine ship dates based on retailer must arrive by date and communicate to the Distribution center.
    • Distribution Center Order Submission – Ensure orders are submitted and received in Distribution center order mgmt. system.
    • Out of Stock Analysis – Ensure out of stock metrics are maintained. Work with retailers to modify orders if possible to account for out of stock issues and communicate in stock dates.
    • Open Order / Invoice Order Accuracy – Ensure both open orders and invoiced orders are reported daily to clients and accurate.
    • Support Client Business Shipping Objectives – Work with clients as needed to understand their monthly shipment goals. Ensure orders are processed in a timely manner so that goal can be achieved. Monitor progress for clients as needed.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND CAPABILIEIES

    • A successful incumbent will have the following experience:

      • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Order Management or related roles.
      • Fast Moving Consumer Goods experience
      • Working with external clients
      • Order management systems experience
    • Excellent communications skills

    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

    • Ability to self-motivate and work in a fast-changing business environment

    • Comfortable in spreadsheets, reporting, and analysis

    • High School degree with bachelor’s degree in business related field highly preferred.

    • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
