    CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

     

    JOB TITLE:  ITT TRIP COORDINATOR/ALT REC TASK LEAD

     

    SUMMARY:

    Will coordinate ITT trips/tours with the providing vendors.  Will schedule no more than one (1) recreational, cultural trip and/or tour events daily or as Force Protection measures allow to support DoD, military and civilian members, contractors, and coalition forces.  Coordinator shall ensure that there are a variety of trips and tours scheduled each month and that they vary from month to month.  Contractor shall provide Cultural Awareness Training to tour attendees and ensure they have all of the necessary documents. Will provide recreational services support in the following functional areas: Lifeguard, Cashier, Lodging, Food/Beverage, Escorts, Personnel Personal Trainers and Linen services. The manager shall provide program planning and execution, labor and supervision of contract labor to meet all requirements. They will assist in submitting program planning and implementation to the COR or a designated Government representative (DGR) for approval.  Shall be present at events to effectively manage and monitor the programs.

     

    RMS WILL BE INSTALLATION SUPPORT SERVICES TO THE UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES IN QATAR AS PART OF THE AFCAP V CONTRACT.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Will create a monthly calendar NLT 60 days prior to the first of the month and effectively promote the tours through flyers and marketing to encourage maximum guest participation.
    • Will process all registration, sign-ups forms, and payments for tours (when required).
    • Sell tickets and process vendor payment using the approved payment method.
    • Respond to all inquiries (written or in-person) regarding trips/ tours within 12 hours
    • Will verbally brief guests regarding off-base safety, dress/appearance, and restriction issues IAW Air Force, AFCENT, and local guidelines and policies.
    • Provide logistical support for sales/bazaars with local vendors monthly.
    • Bazaars will be conducted two to four times a year, with up to 10 vendors for each bazaar. Help to oversee 24/7 recreational program.
    • Assist in coordinating all arriving entertainer schedules and needs inclusive of lodging, host nation requirements, set-up and teardown.
    • Needs to help maintain a recreational program ensuring a monthly total of 36-40 events are offered inclusive of a day event and a night event.
    • Identify supply requirements and prepare necessary documentation for purchase.
    • Assist with other facilities or departments as needed to ensure mission success.
    • Monitor all LN staff associated with the department and if needed other departments.
    • Will be present to assist in hosting activities, events, and special events as needed.

     EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recreational programs, fitness center operations, learning resource center operations, community activity operations, theatre operations and lifeguard services.
    • At least 2 years of experience developing graphics for marketing, publicity and/or advertising using Microsoft and other related programs.
    • Be knowledgeable of all regulations and rules of play regarding any weekly recreational activity or tournament hosted.

     

    MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs
    • Must have and maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
    • Valid Driver’s License and be able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
    • Must have a Valid US Passport.

     

    TRAVEL:   100% in deployed location.
