PURPOSE:
Ensures highest quality of product through inspection and repair in compliance with product handling and customer service standards in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Perform Essential Repairs on casegoods and upholstery: Repair crushed corners, burn-in dents and gouges; strip, sand and refinish tops; cut replacement glass and mirror plate; and install factory replacement tops; upholstered panels, springs, and mechanisms, rebuild upholstered frames, blind stitch fabric, repair leather scuffs and cuts.
- Inspect, evaluate, and repair of merchandise.
- Practice safe and secure material handling methods in accordance with product handling standards.
- Report errors found on documents to supervisor.
- Complete all documentation, including digital photos, neatly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory of customer parts.
- Operate manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to use hands to type information into computer.
Required Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mastery of wood, fabric and leather upholstery repair.
