  • Responsibilities

    The General Manager – Workforce Operations Staffing (GM – WF Ops Staffing) is directly responsible for overseeing the recruiting/staffing solutions and operational service delivery for the company.  This role supports the operations teams while optimizing the execution of various tactics to provide adequate staffing levels to the Divisions/Verticals/Branches across the company.  Working in a high-volume recruiting environment across the U.S. and delivering results to attract, hire and retain talent is critical for this role.  The GM – WF Ops Staffing optimizes service to the business for multiple Divisions/Verticals/Branches by overseeing, planning and directing both direct hire and temporary agency high volume hourly recruiting in order to increase staffing growth.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for operations staffing (direct hire and temp) as well as maintaining the standards set by HR in regard to compliance to HR Systems and guardrails for multiple business units
    • Builds relationships with Branch Operations Leaders and Corporate Divisional Leaders to establish and maintain rapport with operational teams. Acts as key contact for overall program management for workforce operations staffing
    • Engages agency resources in the labor supply chain to support and optimize workforce staffing goals
    • Drives staffing evolution while keeping with the strategic needs of the business
    • Provides regular updates regarding staffing, including latest industry trends, market rates, best practices internally and externally
    • Supports assigned resources to ensure staffing and orientation are carried out effectively in all assigned branches. Acts as the day-to-day escalation contact for workforce operations staffing
    • Supports financial goals and objectives while ensuring full compliance on all HR policies and procedures. Works with senior leaders and all applicable resources to provide accurate, timely and complete performance analyses. Accountable for daily/monthly/quarterly reporting on the various staffing, onboarding and orientation metrics that have been established
    • Responsible for delivery of a quality staffing program. Satisfies headcount metrics that are established for the operations and ensures adherence to HR and business compliance requirements
    • Supports the Director of HR in the management of supplier relationships and partnership negotiations
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

    Required Skills

    • Ten (10) years of work experience, with five (5) years in service level industry and a proven track record measured by increased responsibilities. Previous recruitment management experience a must. 
    • Proven track record in high volume hourly recruiting
    • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations.
    • Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Efficiently manage multiple projects and competing priorities with strong time-management skills
    • Maintains positive attitude and demonstrates the utmost in professionalism
    • The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment
    • The ability to travel as needed

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
    • Proficient skills using MS Office with strong experience using Excel
