    Shop Supervisor - Quality Assurance Exotic Metals Forming Division is looking for an innovative Quality Assurance Supervisor with solid people skills and leadership development experience to join our growing team. Lead, develop and oversee a high performance team of Inspectors throughout our company to achieve all due dates and company goals. Responsible for team staffing, training, evaluation & development as well as Inspection process improvements. Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide training, oversight, and supervision of QA inspectors.
    • Support and initiate improvement efforts within QA Inspection processes, techniques and written procedures.
    • Support NADCAP, Customer, and internal audits of the QA inspection processes and procedures.
    • Possess proactive, positive attitude and represent the company effectively in all situations.
    • Must be decisive with strong analytical and technical skills, and able to constructively solve problems with creativity and latitude.
    • Work effectively with all levels within the organization to resolve conflicting priorities and obtain cooperation to expediently achieve company goals.
    • Be tenacious, goal-oriented, and take the initiative as warranted while demonstrating sound judgment with business and people issues.
    • Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to company values and the organization.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Education, Skills, and Experience:

    • Prefer a 4-year manufacturing or engineering degree, or equivalent expert manufacturing and inspection experience.
    • Must be experienced with QA & Inspection concepts, practices and procedures, including disposition of nonconforming material.
    • Requires solid understanding and experience with concepts associated with Kaizen and Lean principles.
    • Experienced with QA Inspector Training, Creation and Approval of Inspection techniques, and troubleshooting of process issues.
    • Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to company values and the organization.
    • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and self motivation with an action-oriented bias.
    • Effective communication and teambuilding skills.
    • Possess proactive, positive attitude and represent the company effectively in all situations.
