TPC Scottsdale also includes two grand clubhouses to welcome both players and guests. The 27,000-sqaure foot Stadium Course Clubhouse serves a stunning focal point for hospitality, casual and formal dining, banquet and meeting space, and relaxation.

     

    TPC Scottsdale is currently seeking an hourly, full-time ASSISTANT SOUS CHEF to join our Food and Beverage team. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily oversight of the culinary operations.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Effective communication with the management team to attain highest member/guest satisfaction
    • Assume responsibility for the Food and Beverage department in the absence management
    • Create various menu items and daily specials for a la carte and banquet menus, which may include garnishes and overall presentation of product for guest satisfaction
    • Maintaining the high quality of food preparation and presentation through active participation in all banquet functions from planning to plating
    • Handle all special requests, concerns and complaints in a manner that shows professionalism, concern and empathy.  Resolve problems quickly in an objective manner and notify management when problems arise.
    • Lead and direct the work of others which includes, assisting management with training and scheduling of the kitchen staff
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of purchasing procedures to ensure that proper quantities of product are on hand and that food products are maintained at established levels.

     

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

    • 2 years of culinary experience, culinary degree or equivalent training required
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
    • Ability to be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Creative culinary skills and innovative thinking required
    • Knowledge of the Back of House operations and ability to supervise others
    • Ability to read and follow menus and recipes
    • Must be team oriented and able to adapt to changes in work demands
