THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION LOCATED IN MIAMI, FL
Alutiiq Diversified Services LLC (B-1700248) provides corporate security for a commercial aviation manufacturer. This is a service-oriented position which requires a sharp, professional demeanor while interacting with our internal and external customers.
The role of the Enhanced Security Officer includes, but is not limited to a variety of security related duties; Must be able to tactfully de-escalate situations involving irritated customers and/or employees while still enforcing our client’s security requirements, must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications, must possess basic troubleshooting skills for PC components such as printers, scanners.
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Process Visitor Requests to include background vetting
- Provide customer service delivery while still following proper procedures and protocol
- Manufacture/Issue site identification and access badges
- Manage access control using an Electronic Security System granting/denying access to specific areas
- Manufacture/Issue Photography Permits
- Maintain historical data using electronic filing
Required Skills
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess and provide proof of at a minimum, either a HS diploma or GED equivalency certificate or a higher degree.
- Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation
- Must Speak both English and Spanish; read and comprehend written English.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications
- Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications
- Must have a general knowledge of trouble-shooting IT components
- Must be able to work various shifts, to include weekends and Holidays
- Must be able to successfully complete approximately 60 hrs. of company provided training (Classes are schedule 7 days a week)
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Readiness Test
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include incident report writing
