    POSITION PROFILE:

    Candidate must have advanced MS Access experience. Works together with Operations and Materials to determine scheduling needs. Execute schedules and tools to ensure those needs are met in manufacturing and finite scheduling systems are documented & continually improved upon.

    The SCHEDULER will coordinate, with the Plant Manager the specific results, improvements, or accomplishments required to support Knoll department and Site objectives.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Primarily responsible for Supporting and Maintaining MS Access Applications. Execute daily and weekly schedules utilizing Microsoft Access. Support Operations in developing and implementing systems/scheduling solutions to minimize paperwork, streamline processing, flow of materials and product release via manufacturing schedules to the shop floor.
    • Train as well as backup value stream Scheduler Planner as needed.
    • Maintain & enhance existing PC generated manufacturing control systems, programs and databases.
    • Participate in cost improvement and or KCI programs for the purposes of enhancing or developing manufacturing control systems.
    • Interact with ERP site systems for data and information
    • Use of MRP, work order release, inventory tracking and other inventory management and shop floor control modules within ERP.
    • Maintain strong partnerships with manufacturing operations, materials team, and master schedulers to create production plans
    • Provide availability of production reports and collaborate with materials and operations to maximize production plans towards customer demand
    • Document procedures and programs and ensure all are backed up on a timely basis.
    • Support inventory objectives and material availability to stated goals.
    • Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or another analytical discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

    Required Experience

    • Must have advanced Microsoft Access experience with using and navigating features, including building user forms, custom queries, reporting - Extensive experience preferred. Demonstrated practical application of Microsoft Access skills.
    • Experience in developing and working with databases and with designing and manipulating database schema
    • Ability to perform in a command-and-control role and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
    • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
    • Strong technical skills around data management, analytics, data processing and problem solving
    • General advanced personal computer skills. Lotus Notes, JDE, Oracle or equivalent.
    • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends to meet deadlines
