General Summary
Responsible for performing system analysis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements to develop technically appropriate and cybersecurity compliant network solutions in support of the MDA mission
- Prepare project initiation and acquisition packages that will include statements of work, cost estimates, basis of estimates, and defined success criteria for high dollar and complex projects
- Write functional requirements and specifications documents
- Conduct technical evaluations in support of contract negotiations and ensure the proposed solutions satisfy project objectives at equitable costs
- Provide oversight regarding IT design, installation, and integration
- Provide support in planning and deploying cloud infrastructure; including developing segment, transformational, and transition architectures
- Assist contract Program Managers and team leads in ensuring project objectives and milestones are met
- Work with vendors to ensure project planning and execution are completed correctly and in a timely manner
- Conduct site surveys at remote locations to gather requirements for extending enterprise networks in support of the MDA mission
- Assist in operations of the MDA Telecommunications Office (i.e., circuit ordering, disconnections, IT analysis reports, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Monitor, track, and report monthly metrics and status on telecommunication services management
- Orchestrate the review process of the IT Governance workflows and update the workflows as appropriate

Required Skills
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Currently active DoD SECRET security clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required
- Demonstrated operational support experience and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly and accurately process multiple assignments with aggressive timelines in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with planning, deploying, and supporting IT network and infrastructure solutions
- Familiarity with Cisco, Microsoft, or VMWare products
- Familiar with Security Technical Implementation Guides
- Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework
- Familiar with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
