Job Overview
ACI Health seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This position requires a strong understanding of medical imaging technology, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Duties
- Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Document patient information accurately, including medical history and scan results.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices.
Basic Requirements
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent - Required
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology - Required
Experience:
- 1 year modality specific experience (CT, MR, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology) - Preferred
Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist - Required
- Current BLS Certification - Required
- ACLS (Only required for Cath Lab)
