Full-Time Contract

Position Overview
You will provide MRI imaging services for veterans at a leading federal medical center. You will work in a structured clinical environment with consistent hours and strong support from the radiology team.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Occasional evenings and weekends based on need
• 40 hours per week

Contract Details

• 12-month contract with option to extend
• Start after credentialing approval
• Long-term stability with federal facility

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: 48 to 55 per hour
• Weekly Gross: 1,920 to 2,200
• Overtime: 1.5x hourly rate
• On-call pay available
• Travel packages available for qualified candidates

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using ARRT standards
• Prepare and position patients
• Ensure patient safety during procedures
• Operate and adjust MRI equipment
• Review image quality before submission
• Document procedures in EMR system
• Work closely with radiologists and care teams

Requirements

• ARRT Certification in MRI R.T.(MR)
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience
• Active and unrestricted certification
• BLS certification
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass VA credentialing and background check

Preferred

• Prior VA or hospital experience
• Experience with CPRS or similar EMR
