Busy independent outpatient diagnostic radiology facility looking for a Part Time MRI technologist. Minimum 30 hours per week
Minimum 2 year experience is required
Must demonstrate excellent patient care and customer service. Must have experience in starting IV's and work independently.
Summary
As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Reporting to the Owner, you will utilize your core skills in medical imaging and anatomy knowledge, alongside premium expertise in MRI and diagnostic radiology. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service, adhering to aseptic techniques, and maintaining accurate patient records. With certifications such as ARRT (MR), BLS, and CPR, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. Also, performing QA weekly/daily in accordance with the ACR standards.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Maintain and operate MRI equipment, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Administer IVs and provide necessary patient care
Ensure accurate documentation of imaging results and patient information in the EMR and radiologists software system.
Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism in all patient interactions.
Requirements:
ARRT/ARMRIT registered
CPR Certification
High Field Closed Unit
Salary dependent on experience
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Required)
ARRT Certification (Required) or ARMRIT
