Job Title: MRI Technologist – Night Shift

Location: Washington, DC

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Pay: $48 – $52 per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Department. In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical services according to MRI practice standards, support MRI students and fellow technologists, and ensure optimal departmental operations. Your expertise in patient care and magnetic safety will be essential to achieving our mission and maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and yourself.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI procedures following departmental protocols and standards.

Ensure patient safety and provide excellent care in accordance with hospital policies.

Demonstrate magnetic safety for patients, staff, and self.

Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat, safe, and operational condition.

Act as a resource for MRI students and other technologists.

Complete ancillary tasks to support efficient and consistent departmental operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years acute care experience required.

Experience as an MRI Lead preferred.

High School Diploma required; Diploma from a certified school of Radiology required.

BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.

Current ARRT(MR) certification required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
