    Prime Imaging Center is changing the perception of diagnostic testing. Committed to providing excellence in diagnostic imaging, Prime Imaging is on a mission to be the best diagnostic Imaging provider. Our facility is currently looking for an experienced MRI/X-ray Technologist to join our team for Thursdays and Saturdays.

    Responsibilities

    MRI Technologist / MRI Tech / MRI

    The MRI Technologist will:

    Perform examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care

    Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments

    Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice

    Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter- and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.

    Comply with clinical accreditation requirements and submission​ deadlines

    Assist with clinical accreditation applications and inspections

    Other duties as assigned

    Administer IV contrast on exams that request it. (When applicable)

    Establish and maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public

    Maintain a safe and appropriate work area. Maintain inventory of supplies.

    Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    · High school diploma or equivalent.

    · Completion of an accredited Radiology program required

    · Certification/Licensure: 1. National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. (AART)

    · Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers.

    · Experience: Minimum one (1) years experience in MRI and X-ray.

    Skills:

    · Ability to properly position patients to provide quality imaging.

    · Ability to work independently.

    · Complete understanding of MRI applications.

    · Ability to operate equipment.

    · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management and peers.

    · Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage interactions with difficult people.

    · Excellent telephone skills

    Other Requirements:

    · Knowledge of current medical terminology.

    · Knowledge of imaging techniques to perform routine tests.

    · Knowledge of imaging equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

    · Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.

    · Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.

    · Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.

    · Maintain current CPR.
