    Job Description

    A well-known manufacturer of exciting and high quality houseware products in the Los Angeles area is looking for a National Account Manager to manage existing accounts and develop new retail accounts. This is a business sales manager-and hunter-sales position. Will work with major domestic retailers such as: QVC, HSC, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Grocery, Drug accounts, Nordstrom, William Sonoma, JCPenney, Kohls, Canadian Tire, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Bealls, Menard's, Pampered Chef, Military and Specialty etc. Requirements: 5 years minimum experience selling into many of the retailers mentioned above. Proven track record of success in growing revenue in a current or past sales role with these retail channels. Have strong relationships and have worked with major national HQ buyers of major retailers mentioned above. Strong and effective negotiation skills and ability to close profitable business transactions and programs. Willing to travel to major retail accounts and manufacturers overseas-- and have had experience in overseas travel. Have worked cross-functionally with in house sales team, marketing, creative, and logistics-operations. Have experience in managing the entire sales process, to product development, sourcing, and fulfillment. Have strong presentation development and delivery skills. Be proficient in excel and computer programs. Responsibilities: Direct involvement in managing existing accounts and developing new retail business accounts. Visit Retail accounts and overseas factories. Be prepared to attend trade shows when they are back and it is safe to do so. College Degree in Business or equivalent Competitive salary and Benefits offered.
