MRJ Investment, LLC is a real estate company seeking a full-time bookkeeper/office administrator based in Gastonia, North Carolina. We are seeking an experienced professional who will accurately record day to day financial transactions of our company and assist with other daily tasks. The primary responsibilities would entail managing all aspects of bookkeeping and supporting the general day to day operations of the office in an administrative capacity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bookkeeping:
· Handles all aspects of accounts payable (entering approved payables, processing checks, and mail accordingly)
· Account reconciliation
· Enters in all daily income reports no less than on a weekly basis
· Files invoices with processed checks to maintain an orderly accounting filing system
· Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
· Assists with annual audit
· Works closely with the CPA firm
Administrative:
· Sending out and receiving mail and packages
· Assists with answering of incoming administration and development calls
· Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized by management and monitor office supply levels and reorder as necessary
· Assists with committee meeting preparation
· Managing any office related functions
· Drafts correspondence as requested
· Participate in events as needed as a member of administrative staff
· Running office and store related errands
· Other duties as required by manager/owner
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Proven accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks experience.
• QuickBooks Enterprise knowledge
• Highschool, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in accounting
• Well organized with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
• Self-motivated
• Flexible and versatile
• Can Self-Manage while working alone
SCHEDULE:
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
EDUCATION:
• Highschool, Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
• Office experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• QuickBooks Desktop: 1 year (Required)
WORK LOCATION: One location – In-office
COMPENSATION:
Starting $16.00/ hour range (Depending on Experience)
