Basic Job Description:
MRO Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the inventory of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies, including spare parts, tools, and other materials needed for routine maintenance and repairs within a facility, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely procurement, and efficient distribution to maintain operational continuity; key duties include tracking inventory levels, placing purchase orders, managing stock rotations, performing physical counts, and analyzing usage data to optimize inventory management strategies.

Experience or training in inventory management or MRO operations.
Familiarity with basic maintenance tools and equipment.
Previous experience in a supportive role.
Knowledge of fundamental inventory management practices, with an emphasis on maintaining an organized and efficient storeroom to support the reliability of plant operations.
Familiarity with Reliability-Centered Stocking (RCS) concepts to optimize inventory levels and ensure high availability of critical spares, balancing cost and space constraints with the need for operational readiness.

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $22-27/hr
