    MRO Tool Crib Team Lead

    1 st Shift

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The MRO Team Leader is a working hourly position responsible for the daily operation, organization, and accuracy of the MRO crib. This role supports MRO inventory, receiving, issuing, requisitions, vendor follow-up, invoice support, and maintenance parts availability.

    The Team Leader designation is based on the added responsibilities assigned to this role, including inventory accuracy, requisition follow-up, vendor communication, standard work support, and communication with maintenance, production, purchasing, finance, and plant leadership.

    This position does not have direct reports and is not a supervisory role. The MRO Team Leader does not have authority for hiring, discipline, performance reviews, pay decisions, corrective action, scheduling ownership, or termination. Those responsibilities remain with management.

    SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the Company’s mission, vision, values, goals, safety expectations, and plant initiatives.
    • Maintain the daily operation, organization, housekeeping, 5S, and accuracy of the MRO crib and related storage areas.
    • Receive, issue, stock, label, and organize MRO parts, materials, supplies, and repair items.
    • Maintain accurate MRO inventory records through EAM or other approved systems.
    • Perform cycle counts, support physical inventory, complete approved inventory adjustments, and assist with inventory reporting.
    • Review and maintain min/max inventory levels based on usage, demand, plant needs, and management direction.
    • Support the Stores Requisition process, including entering, tracking, routing, and following up on requisitions.
    • Ensure quotes, purchase information, receipts, and supporting documentation are accurate and complete.
    • Work with vendors and suppliers on pricing, availability, lead times, repairs, returns, delivery updates, and part-related concerns.
    • Help expedite critical parts, emergency materials, repair items, and outside services needed to support plant operation.
    • Support accurate and timely invoice processing by verifying receipt of goods or services and helping resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain compliance with internal control standards, purchasing procedures, record retention requirements, and applicable work instructions.
    • Identify and communicate concerns related to inventory accuracy, part shortages, requisition delays, vendor issues, invoice issues, obsolete items, or process gaps.
    • Follow all company safety requirements and wear proper PPE as required.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

    · High school diploma or equivalent required.

    · Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    · Experience with MRO parts, inventory, purchasing, stores, crib operations, or maintenance support preferred.

    · Experience using EAM, CMMS, ERP, inventory, or purchasing systems preferred.

    · Knowledge of inventory systems, purchasing procedures, and MRO crib operations.

    · Understanding of plant maintenance needs and production support requirements.

    · Strong organizational, analytical, computer, and communication skills.

    · Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    · Strong attention to detail with inventory accuracy, requisitions, receiving, issuing, and invoice support.

    · Ability to follow standard work, purchasing guidelines, internal controls, and company procedures.

    · Ability to identify problems, support root cause review, and communicate concerns clearly.

    · Ability to work well with maintenance, production, purchasing, finance, vendors, and plant leadership.

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

    · Must have a strong work ethic, good work record, excellent attendance, and be dedicated to safety, company goals, and plant support.

    · Must be available to work 1st shift and support overtime as needed, including extended hours or additional days based on business, production, inventory, or plant support needs.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Duties include, but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying, seeing, talking, and hearing. The position may require working in both office and manufacturing environments.

    When working in plant areas, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, powered industrial traffic, noise, vibration, dust, welding operations, hot work areas, chemicals, and other manufacturing-related hazards. Proper PPE must be worn as required.

    The associate must be able to safely lift and handle materials within company guidelines and request assistance when needed. Must be willing to train in setup, crane operation, and forklift certification if required by the position.


    Candidates must be flexible, adaptable to change and have a positive attitude. Must have excellent computer skills, work ethic, work record (no active disciplinary on file greater than a level 1), dedicated to safety/company goals and possess an excellent attendance record (no more than 4 points).

    Must be willing and able to work overtime. Requires the ability to analyze numerical data and be detail-orientated. Must have a clear understanding of our manufacturing and operations administrative processes as well as the ability to communicate clearly and work as a team in resolving issues.

  • Qualifications
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Surgical Unit, Outpatient Facility, Primary Care and/ OR Adult Health.
    • Retain current and unrestricted nursing license in the state in which the RN practices.
    • Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or MTN.
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques.
    • Ability to assess patient condition, recognize adverse signs and symptoms, and react swiftly in emergency situations.
    • Ability to set realistic, measurable education goals for patients, taking into consideration patient/family needs, level of understanding and available local resources.
    • Ability to develop and provide individualized and group counseling, guidance, and health instruction with the focus on disease prevention and health maintenance.
    • Ability to teach patients and/or families proper home health care activities, such as giving injections, taking blood pressures, changing wound dressings, etc.
    • Knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, including desired effects, side effects, complications, and patient usage considerations.
    • Knowledge of the basic concepts of customer service techniques related to age-specific population.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, Electronic Medical Records and computer maneuverability.
    • Knowledge of pharmacology.
    • Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
    • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
