We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MS/Tele Float Travel Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while enjoying the excitement of travel nursing. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

Minimum of 3 years' experience, at least 1 year in MS/tele setting

First time travelers not accepted

Certs: BLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

ACLS

JOB DETAILS:

Ratios: 1:6, flex based on needs in organization

12 hour nights, 36 hours per week, weekends only

Option to be scheduled on Friday or Monday for the coverage for 3 days

Float required within the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool)

Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses.

Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled at New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital

Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift

Unite systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR

24 hour orientation

Navy scrubs

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:

Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units

Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.

Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.

Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID.

During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher.
