Senior Structural Project Manager/Growth opportunity to Team Leader
The EMS Academy at Arapahoe Community College is accepting applications for a part-time Instructor to teach in the Paramedic Education Program and Critical Care courses during the Spring 2020 semester.
The Paramedic Education Program is a fully accredited Paramedic program which meets Monday through Friday during Fall and Spring semester. The Paramedic Education Program consists of 15 separate courses covering in-depth pathophysiology of disease, advanced pharmacology, advanced cardiology, and advanced critical emergency care for medical and trauma patients. The Paramedic Education Program prepares students to pass the NREMT paramedic exam, be proficient working in emergency medicine, and for success in advanced placement classes in associate and bachelor degree programs.
Part-time Instructors provide instructional duties for the College in their respective areas of expertise. They report to the Director of the EMS Academy and do not have any supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities include: instruction, student assessment, and other related instructional duties. Instructional delivery may include face-to-face, hybrid, and online.
Classes meet on the Littleton campus and may be held days, evenings, and weekends. Online work for qualified teachers is possible.
The instructor must be patient, and respectful, while also providing their expectations for what is considered acceptable work. The instructor must display dedication to the class as well as the goals of the program.
