 ABOUT THE POSITION

 The Registered Nurse – Full Time Float Pool provides basic nursing skills to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer of the hospital. This skilled individual will be trained and be able to float to the following departments in the hospital:

• Medical Surgical Unit
• Pre – Operative/PACU
• Emergency Department
• Gastroenterology and Pain Management

We are in need of:

• 1 Full Time Float Pool RN

Required Skills

• Current Texas Nursing License
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• ICU or ER experience, preferred
• Minimum 3 year experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient

Required Experience
