    SUMMARY:  The Director of Procurement will lead the development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies that deliver cost efficiencies, supply assurance and raw material quality for the procurement of raw materials and certain non-inventory items while maintaining optimal levels of inventory. This individual will help identify and screen suppliers, develop strategic relationships, negotiate terms and conditions and drive continuous improvements in the supply chain. The Director will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of buyers and work closely with Operations to ensure customer service and delivery requirements are met.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead and develop team of buyers in North America
    • Set strategy, develop budgets and implement key tactics to improve supply chain performance to ensure business objectives and customer expectations are met
    • Develop, implement and track Supply Chain KPIs to drive performance improvements in raw material quality, cost and supply assurance and raw material inventory levels
    • Drive inventory to optimal levels to meet operational needs and financial objectives
    • Utilize procurement expertise to develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to help drive solutions for our business
    • Develop policies and procedures for Procurement that drive standardization, use of ERP systems and improve business performance
    • Manage supplier relationships and contract activities in support of existing and new business and products
    • Negotiate supplier contracts, agreements and pricing that align with the interests of the company and comply with policies
    • Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive improvements in customer service and business performance

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

    • 10-15 years experience in progressive leadership roles in Procurement and Supply Chain
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to develop teams at in a manufacturing environment
    • Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvements in Supply Chain performance
    • Collaborative approach to improving business performance
    • BS in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, MBA (preferred)

    DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Demonstrates professional interdisciplinary skills and provides comprehensive Behavioral Health Case Management services to clients (including treatment adherence counseling)
    • Develops and implements comprehensive, individualized service plans
    • Follows up with assigned clients to provide support, monitor progress on service plan, and provide access to resources
    • Provide ongoing support and resources to clients in unstable living situations
    • Work with interdisciplinary team and clients to develop individualized case management plans
    • Maintains client confidentiality per The Wright Center policy and HIPAA standards
    • Serves as client advocate. Defends and preserves the rights of patients pertaining to all aspects of their care, knowledge, and privacy
    • Client home-visits may from time to time be necessary to accomplish service plan
    • Actively participate in client and program-related training's
    • Provides for continuity of effective client and family care by acting as a liaison/communication link between the interdisciplinary team and staff of substance abuse agencies, correctional institutions, specialty offices, visiting nurse associations, and local service organizations
    • Works with the interdisciplinary team to identify unmet needs that may impact adherence (homelessness, substance abuse, psychiatric illness, acute medical problems, lack of or inadequate health care benefits, etc.) and assists team in prioritizing those needs
    • Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings as scheduled
    • Assists program staff in data collection and fulfilling grant requirements. Performs data entry as required by grants
    • Maintains an information/referral list of community services
    • Demonstrates leadership and professionalism to other staff
    • Performs other duties as assigned
