    GRADUATE ENGINEER II - LAS VEGAS, NV

    WESTWOOD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Graduate Engineer II to join our team in our Las Vegas, NV office.  Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepares analysis on a variety of technical tasks

    • Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products produced by self and others

    • Recognize discrepancies in results and assist in identifying appropriate changes

    • Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements for tasks assigned

    • Participate in peer review of task level assignments

    • Prepare exhibits, plot plans, lot fits or other similar tasks by discipline

     

    Required Skills

    • Able to perform basic to intermediate design tasks

    • Prepares limited portions of project documents

    • Ability to edit specifications

    • Performs research and investigation

    • Possess intermediate knowledge and proficiency of software required for position

    • Familiarity with local agency standards (i.e. UDACS, HUGS, DCSWCS)

    • Ability to follow general directions and work independently on basic to intermediate computations

    • Actively involved in related professional organizations

    Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience post degree

    • Successfully passed the Engineering Fundamentals Exams
