Responsibilities: • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction • Generate loan volume by collaborating with our teams on various marketing efforts and channels • Communicate with clients plus internal & external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient process leads to a successful closing • Work with experienced processors and underwriters to analyze and verify loan applications (income, asset, tax returns) to determine creditworthiness and identify potential risks and concerns • Monitor market conditions for both current and past clients in order to better identify business opportunities • Participate actively in our coaching/training program, in order to improve your professional business skills • Ensure loans meet Federal, State, and Lender compliance guidelines Qualifications: • Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License • Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies • Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred • Advantageous to have both Commercial and SBA loan experience • Experience with MS Office Suite and loan-originating software such as Loanzify and/or Lending Pad • Experience in real estate transactions, mortgage origination, or lending required Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 yearly
