Job Description
Managers in news operations will be responsible for knowing the ins and outs of how the teams they support work at every level. They will be a regular presence everywhere news is made - in the newsroom, the control room, in the field. The ideal candidate will have a keen sense of editorial and production processes and will be passionate about optimizing workflows, creatively solving complex issues, and contributing to the overall success of MSNBC.
You will work closely with your team to turn insight into action - searching for actionable solutions to problems, connecting story tellers with technical stakeholders, and engaging the newsroom in conversation about what's working, what's broken, and how to fix it. You will ensure teams are fully supported in their mission of bringing world-class journalism to our audience.
