    Position Summary

    Binyod LLC is building a Managed Services & Cybersecurity practice from the ground up and is seeking a Practice Lead to own that effort.

    This role combines:

    Technical leadership

    Business development

    Early-stage operations management

    The right candidate will design MSP and cybersecurity offerings, sell them, and ensure they are delivered correctly in the early phase.

    This is a hands-on builder role, not a mature MSP “caretaker” position.

    What You Will Own

    Design and launch Binyod’s MSP & cybersecurity service portfolio

    Act as the primary technical and commercial owner for MSP clients

    Drive early revenue while building repeatable delivery processes

    Serve as the bridge between sales, operations, and executive leadership

    Core Responsibilities

    I. MSP & Cybersecurity Service Development (25%)

    Define and package MSP offerings:

    Managed IT (per user / per device models)

    Backup & disaster recovery

    Endpoint security (EDR/MDR)

    Identity & access management (MFA, SSO)

    Security awareness & phishing protection

    Build cybersecurity offerings aligned with:

    NIST / CIS Controls

    Education and SMB compliance needs

    Select and integrate MSP tools:

    RMM, PSA, EDR, backup, SOC partners

    Create SOPs, service definitions, and pricing models

    II. Business Development & Solution Selling (45%)

    Identify and pursue MSP and cybersecurity opportunities

    Lead discovery conversations focused on:

    Risk

    Downtime

    Compliance gaps

    Translate client pain points into scoped MSP/security solutions

    Own the sales cycle from first meeting to contract execution

    Build pipeline and recurring revenue (MRR)

    III. Early-Stage MSP Operations Management (30%)

    Oversee onboarding and delivery for initial MSP clients

    Define escalation paths, SLAs, and response workflows

    Ensure services sold are operationally viable and profitable

    Coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners

    Monitor service quality, retention, and client satisfaction

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    This role requires technical depth, commercial instinct, and operational discipline.

    Required Experience

    5+ years in MSP, IT services, or cybersecurity

    Direct experience with:

    MSP operations (RMM, ticketing, monitoring) - ConnectWise is preferred

    Cybersecurity tools and services

    Selling recurring IT/security services

    Experience building or scaling an MSP practice

    Strong understanding of SMB and education IT environments

    Technical Competencies

    Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)

    Endpoint and identity security

    Backup, DR, and business continuity

    Cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace)

    Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, HIPAA preferred)

    Commercial & Leadership Skills

    Comfortable owning revenue targets and delivery outcomes

    Able to communicate risk and value to non-technical executives

    Strong documentation and process-building mindset

    Capable of wearing multiple hats in an early-stage practice
