MSP Real Estate is seeking a Part-Time Leasing Agent with tax credit experience to join our community!

The Leasing Agent is responsible assisting the property manager with all processes associated with rental procedures. Other job duties include accurate and timely processing of bill, collecting rent payments, and processing and preparing applications, ACH paperwork, and leases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage campus tax credit application and re-certification process
• Audit site to ensure compliance with all state, federal and company policies
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of bills
• Responsible for accounts receivable
• Process ACH paperwork for all new and existing residents
• Work with tenants and families through the accounts receivable process including calling families to collect payments
• Ensure timely changeover of vacant apartments using work order system in collaboration with community and campus markets
• Process and prepare leases and renewals to ensure accuracy and completion
• Maintain courteous communication with tenants, applicants, and representatives of other companies
• Maintain census
• Provide accurate and timely reports as indicated

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years of tax credit leasing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to speak, write, and read English
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong computer skills in Outlook and Microsoft software
• Possess good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal regulations
