Location: Warren, Ohio USA
Position: Product Engineer
Reporting Relationship: Lead Product Engineer
Revision: 7/22/22
Primary Function :
· Coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integration and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
· Solve problems relating to wiring harness and components
· Written and oral communication with internal/external customers and vendors
· Travel for project reviews with customers and plants
· Good organizational skills for tracking assigned projects
· Target and implement improvements relating to the product and operational costs
· CREO / ProE knowledge preferred
· Make changes to harnesses, distinguish various circuit identification markings, read and trouble shoot electrical schematics
· Track and report progress on projects
· Develop problem-solving methodologies
· Support VA/VE activities in the department and plants
· Work in a team atmosphere to support various design activities
· Utilize MS Office packages
Minimum Qualifications :
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
· General knowledge of CAD with a strong computer background.
· Selected candidate must be open to the possibility of relocating.to customer sites
· Bi-lingual (English- Spanish) a plus
