The Adventures that await you… ASL Interpretation:

Interpret onsite and in virtual settings for a variety of clients: education, business…

Team up with clients, colleagues, and Deaf individuals for effective communication

Partner with the coordination and business development team for the best possible services

Community Relations:

Representing MT&A and connecting to the community through networking, professional events…

Stay updated with the latest developments in ASL interpretation and share your knowledge

Develop/host workshops and training sessions to supercharge interpreters' skill

Recruit awesome interpreters to the MT&A team

Share the good stuff with our team

Qualifications:

Associate’s in ASL/English Interpretation or related field or equivalent experience required. (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

RID/BEI certification - Level 4 or 5 minimum

Active License or ability to hold a license in Missouri and Illinois

ASL interpretation experience in a variety of setting

Deaf culture aficionado

Excellent communication and people skills.

Fun, team focused, and ability to communicate through Gifs

Work well independently and with a team, working towards the mission and goals of the team

Organizational wizard

Active (or willing to become active) in ASL interpreting community and associations

Ready to help the ASL interpreting field grow

Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and more

Benefits:

Competitive compensation based on skills and certification level (Salary range of $57,000-65,000)
