Job Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Manufacturing Engineering intern will participate in the design and creation of the Electronics 80 assembly line. They will learn and utilize skills such as MRD, Kanban, and Point-of-Use Inventory Strategies. The intern will also being working closely with the area Manufacturing Engineer, Technicians, and Leadership, to design and build the future Electronics 80 assembly line.

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with area Manufacturing Engineer and team members to design and implement components of the Electronics 80 line.
• Finalize Kanban Bin design, quantities, and locations, along the proposed assembly line.
• Create and keep current, a CAD file of the future assembly area.
• Work directly with area Techs to streamline and improve current processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with electronics will be helpful but not necessary.
• Eagerness to learn and implement process improvements.
• CAD Experience is helpful.
