JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an Accounting Professional to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Head of Department responsibilities include but not limited to auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements. Provide accurate quantitative information on financial, liquidity and cash flows of our business, produce company financial statements as requested per Upper Management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily cash flow activity
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile payable and receivable accounts
• Ensure timely bank statements
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Maintain insurance program
• Construction Loans Administration
• Work with outside CPA for income tax preparation and financial statement review

REQUIREMENTS

• Work experience of 3-5 years as an Accountant, Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Hands on experience with accounting software QuickBooks and similar
• Advanced MS excel skills
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

SALARY

57,000 - 65,000 (salary negotiable only within this range, depending on experience)

• Accounting: 3 years (Required)
• QuickBooks and similar accounting software: 3 years (Required)
• Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
